All you need to know about Landsfor!
Before the division of Landsfor, it was a united kingdom of four islands ruled by the mighty King Balathaar Rain.
The kingdom was blessed by the Lord of Water, God Aquinious.
Outside Landsfor lay the Outer Islands.
On the two northern outer islands were the kingdoms of Blee and Orakray, while to the south lay the single-island kingdom of Haask.
The north kings often attempted to conquer Landsfor, but each time failed miserably. To end all the futile fighting, a peace treaty was enacted between the Outer Islands and Landsfor; however, only the two northern Outer Islands of Blee and Orakray signed the treaty, and as time went on, the nations became allies and eventually relatives.
Only the kingdom of Haask, the southern Outer Island, decided to remain impartial as it always had. Before the treaty was signed, if any northern Outer Island kingdoms attacked Landsfor, Haask would decline to help Landsfor or any of the invaders. For that matter, Haask never tried to occupy any other land, and anyone who dared attack Haask suffered a gruesome fate. As such, the name of Haask was uttered with the utmost respect throughout the realm.
Landsfor was profoundly influenced by historical invasions long before the reign of King Balathaar and his father, King Komodothaar Rain. The invaders brought lifestyle changes, rules and laws, and though they always left, their statutes, influence, and archaeology remained. They greatly impacted the people, and grandparents told their grandchildren many heroic stories of ancient heroes, inspiring them to become just as valiant. Due to these influences, the people of Landsfor wore a mixture of attire, some influenced by their own history and some by the invaders.
They were polytheists, worshipping multiple Gods and deities like their invading forefathers.
Doosranfor enjoyed warm sun throughout the year; generally, the rain poured onto all the lands, and there was never a drought. As such, the soil on all four islands was rich and fertile. Various vegetables and fruits grew, and the Goddess of Wind Fizha blessed the people with the fresh air they breathed, often enjoying the sight of pure white clouds gently gliding over green forests and plains and brushing against sturdy mountain peaks.
